Actor Jennifer Potts to Play ‘Susan Russell’
United States Marine Corps Veteran Jennifer Potts will play the role of Susan Russell in Wright Summit Productions’ upcoming feature film “R-Naught 15.”
Susan Russell is the ambitious and shrewd Chief of Homeland Security who is trying to determine whether the nationwide outbreak of a newly released contagion is an act of terrorism or a fluke. Of portaying Susan Russell, Ms. Potts says: “In this role, I get to use my natural drive for success.”
Ms. Potts was brought up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and received her Masters from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She says she has a deep love and passion for theater and film and enjoys the creative outlets both mediums afford.
Her current works span television and film — appearing in the Lifetime Original Series, “I Was Possessed” and Investigation Discovery (ID) original series Southern Fried Homicide” and “Evil Kin.” Also, Ms. Potts has portrayed various characters in several film shorts including “Thirst,” and “The Bad Job.”
Ms. Potts lives in Maryland with her husband and two daughters.
